Speech Help

You’d be surprised how many times as an ELL teacher that I wished I had a speech app to help my students understand how to make the sound I’m asking them to make.

There’s a great giveaway this week of an app that could fit that bill. On Smart Apps for Kids (a site I use often to find free apps!), they are giving a huge discount and giveaway of the app Speech Sounds for Kids. It’s usually $12.99 and is now $5.99 during the promotion.

What I like most about it is that you see the video of the sound being made, and then there are games to reinforce the sound. I’m not a speech teacher, but sometimes my students need that little bit more.

Maybe this is it…
